I lost a person! | KETO Diet effect

A few days ago I posted an image from my weight loss tracker saying I had hit 120 pounds down. At first I didn’t think anything of it, other than excitement of course, but then a friend put it into perspective. She replied with, “You lost a whole person!” Can you believe that? A PERSON! I always find ways to put that number into perspective. I always try to pick up dog food, or potato bags in the store and imagine it, but I never can. I can never see the full scale of what that large number means. But a person - I lost a small, fit, person. Haha. Now that’s incredibly cool to think about.

187 pounds to 140 pounds in 6 Months : KETO Diet Effect

When I stepped on the scale in April 2019, I was whopping 187 pounds (Obese for 5'5" guy). I was very worried and wanted to loose weight to a normal level and that is when I learnt about Keto. I mostly did lazy keto. I was just making sure that I was under 20g of carbs. Most of my meals involved combination of coffee or tea, rotisserie chicken, veggie stir fry, eggs, chicken and goat curry. I had my high and low but at the end, I did it. I am now 140 pound (as of November 2019) and in normal weight range with near perfect blood pressure level. I now wear Small (instead of L) and my waist is down to 29 from 34. To everyone who is on Keto and or planning on getting on keto diet: Keep going. It's worth it. You will feel better. People with respect you. You will respect yourself. Life will be less difficult. You will buy a lot of clothes.

Keep Calm , KETO On

So yeah, keep going is the best keto advice I give to myself . I started well over 18 months ago wearing 3x shirts and 24 size jeans and yesterday I bought size 6 jeans and size small shirts. Whenever I hear from the "Are you sick?" "Don't lose anymore weight."  "Your husband must like you so much better right now!" No response is my response. I know I've said this a million times but this support group is awesome and has helped me when have the I want to give up moments. Thank you , thank you. Keep Calm and Keto On

KETO diet Effect : 273lbs to 182lbs

There is a lot I could say but I’ll keep it simple. At my heaviest I was over 280lbs, I started not eating so much and being more active but still struggled at 273lbs, but lo’ and behold I found keto. I started out in June on the 13th, slipped up 2 weeks in but got back to it. Today is the 20th day in the month of November as of this post. I’ve gone from a 2xl to a medium shirt, a size 44 waist to 36. I’m still going for more though, trying to get to a place I’ve never been before. No doubt this was fast, and my age played a factor, but it is the effort you put in that gets you there. So don’t give up, run that good race to the finish. Because when you get there you’re going to realize that it was worth it.
